Oh, and by the way, she won the Best New Actress (Special Project) category at the 2015 MBC Drama Awards for this role. A bit heavy for you? Don’t worry, there’s still a love story inside this family drama! Yoon Park plays Park Jae Joon, Sung Kyung’s love interest who she met after a blind date switch. She then sets out to find her real parents and after her biological father turns her away, she goes on to find her real mother, an ambitious celebrity chef. Sung Kyung’s Yi Sol had lived a happy life despite not being rich, but things change when she finds out that her biological mother gave her up for adoption. She plays a problematic high school kick-out who works at a cafe with Park Soo Kwang (aka Lee Kwang Soo) who eventually falls for her and despite the fact that she was seeing someone else already, she takes advantage of Soo Kwang and dates him! There’s a resemblance between the personalities of So Nyeo and her character Baek In Ha in Cheese in the Trap – except So Nyeo is just less crazy and more spunky. I’m sorry, but she can’t always be the adorable Bok Joo but hey, at least she can show her versatility! Okay, here’s another drama that would make you hate Sung Kyung’s character. Nam Joo Hyuk also stars in Cheese in the Trap – hmmmmmmmmmmm…… And don’t forget to check out her outfits – her character’s a spoiled brat who’d rather go homeless than stop shopping for a reason! Her portrayal of the complex character who is all set to destroy Hong Seol’s, played by Kim Go Eun, life will make you both want to hug her in sympathy and pull her hair in annoyance. Cheese in the Trap – Baek In HaĪlthough she is a character to hate in this drama, I personally loved Sung Kyung so much as Baek In Ha, the spoiled and bratty sister of Baek In Ho (Seo Kang Joon) who was hopelessly in love with Park Hae Jin’s character Yoo Jung. Don’t worry Sung Kyung, you’ve got your bae Nam Joo Hyuk now anyway! She’s used to being in the spotlight – until it starts shining on Park Shin Hye’s Yoo Hye Jung, and it just so happened that the guy she likes (Kim Rae Won as Hong Ji Hong) actually likes Hye Jung! And the same thing goes for her second love interest, Jung Yoon Do, played by Yoon Kyung San. Her character is Little Miss Perfect, she’s got the beauty and brains and everyone loves her. Sung Kyung basically plays Park Shin Hye’s character’s frenemy since high school up until they become colleagues in the hospital as neurosurgeons. In fact, here are 4 dramas our kween Lee Sung Kyung had starred in and her iconic roles: 1. Most know her as the awkward yet lovable Kim Bok Joo who got us laughing our bums off as we watched her crazy antics and melted our hearts as her journey to finding love and experiencing heartbreak unfolded – but there’s more to Lee Sung Kyung than the weightlifting fairy we all cheered for.
